JOB SUMMARY:
Under the general supervision of the County Attorney and Office
Administrator, responsible for administrative duties supporting the
operation of the department.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of legal administrative skills equivalent to completion
of an Associate's degree and one to three years of related experience,
or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge
of modem office practices, procedures, and equipment, including
the use of computers. Knowledge of legal terminology. Considerable
knowledge of business English, grammatical construction, spelling,
punctuation, and vocabulary and the ability to compose routine letters.
Knowledge of legal practices, procedures and the New Hampshire
criminal justice system and courts. Ability to maintain confidentiality
in all assignments and duties, and ensures such information is not
released without proper authorization. Ability to communicate
effectively both verbally and in writing; to establish positive public
relations for the department; and to interact with a wide variety of
people.

NOTICE OF 19 V.S.A. SECTION 502 PUBLIC HEARING
The Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans) hereby gives notice
to property owners, parties interested in land or with rights in land,
and municipalities affected by the proposed construction of the above-
captioned transportation project, that VTrans will conduct a 19 V.S.A.
Section 502 public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 6,
2014, at the Bradford Academy Auditorium, Main Street, Bradford,
Vermont. VTrans is holding this hearing to receive comments and
suggestions for changes from interested persons. A court reporter
will be available to transcribe questions or comments for the hearing
record. There will be an Open Forum from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at
the same location. The Open Forum will give an opportunity for inter-
ested parties to ask questions of VTrans representatives specific to
their property.
All pertinent information developed by VTrans is available for pub-
lic inspection and copying at VTrans' offices in Montpelier, Vermont.
VTrans will accept oral or written statements or exhibits at the hear-
ing and for ten (10) days after the hearing at VTrans' offices in Mont-
pelier, Vermont. VTrans will make these materials part of the hearing
record.
The project is described as follows: The purpose of this project is
to provide a safe highway crossing on VT RT 25B over the Waits
River that is capable of supporting all of the anticipated vehicular
loads. The proposed project will consist of constructing a new bridge
to replace Bridge 1 and reconstructing the roadway approaches to
this bridge. The width of the proposed bridge and roadway will in-
clude 4 foot shoulders and 10 foot travel lanes in each direction.
During construction, traffic will be detoured outside the project limits.
VTrans is notifying by certified mail all parties it knows who may
be, but not necessarily will be, affected by the proposed project.
VTrans cannot describe the parties actually affected by the proposed
project or the exact extent to which the project will affect them until
the final design plans are prepared for the hearing.
Members of the public may see a copy of the conceptual plans for
this project at the office of the Town Clerk in Bradford, Vermont, or at
VTrans' Structures Office in Montpelier, Vermont. At the hearing,
VTrans representatives will discuss relocation assistance programs
and tentative schedules for right-of-way acquisition and construc-
tion.
