HANOVER--The Montshire Museum of Science in Hanover has announced the appointment of William David Goudy as Director. Mr. Goudy replaces Dr. Robert Chaffee who retired at the end of 1980. Goudy has been Assistant Director of the Missouri Botanical Garden since 1978. His work there has included direct responsibility for operations. The Missouri Botanical Garden, in St. Louis, has an annual operating budget of nearly $2 million and 93 employees. Montshire Trustees selected Goudy after a nationwide search for a Director with experience in the management and educational dimensions of museum work.
